Alegre Beach Resort is an Internationally known five star resort, close to the charming town of Sogod on the northeastern coast of Cebu. Alegre's cottages are set in lush tropical grounds many of which offer ocean views and private gardens. The resort boasts a coconut grove, and three private beach coves. Diving is a popular pastime and the house reef offers a 100 ft. wall dive.

Perched above Cebu's most spectacular natural and uncorrupted white sand beach, Alegre Beach Resort offers its guests friendly, unobtrusive service in an idyllic tropical location. Upon arrival, the reception area offers uninterrupted views over the spacious swimming pools to the islands in the east set in delicious turquoise blue waters.

Accommodations are surrounded by lush gardens and comprise of twenty elegant, tastefully designed Filipino-spanish inspired cabañas with native thatched roofs, each of which includes two spacious bedrooms, oversized bathrooms and private verandas. Minibars, cable television and in-house movies, hairdyers, personal safes, coffee and tea makers, airconditioning and many other facilities expected of a world class resort are all included.

Adjacent to the pool, the Pavilion Restaurant and Lounge Bar offer a choice of airconditioned or alfresco dining where a variety of native and international dishes are available. Alegre also prides itself on the preperation of freshly caught seafood.
