Barbie Almalbis' first band, Hungry Young Poets, made waves with their hit "Firewoman." Known for the sweetness of her voice and her charming beauty, Barbie also writes her own songs and is one of the few females in OPM that plays the guitar with authority. She formed a new band, Barbie's Cradle, in 1998. The group was able to release 3 albums with hits like 'Tabing Ilog' and 'Everyday'. Barbie went solo in July 2005.
