U.A.E. Regional Information:

Dubai is the second largest of the seven Emirates that make up the UAE. Abu Dhabi, which is the Federal Capital,Sharjah,Ajman,Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaima and Fujairah are the other six.



Location and Area:

Dubai is located on the southern shore of the Gulf in the southeastern part of the Arabian peninsula.



Climate:

Dubai has a subtropical arid climate. Temperatures range from 10 to 30 degrees centigrade (50-90 degrees farenheit) in winter and can reach up to 48 degrees centigrade (124 degrees farenheit) in the summer. Rainfall is mainly during the winter month and rarely amounts to more a few inches annually.



Language:

The national language is Arabic, but English is widely spoken and understood.



Alcohol:

Alcohol is freely available in Hotel Restaurants and Bars, but not outside hotels.



Currency:

The Monetary unit is the Dirhams ( DHS or AED ) which is divided into 100 fils. The official exchange rate is USD$ 1 = AED 3.675

Credit cards are widely used and accepted.



Tipping:

A 10% service charge will be added to bills in many establishments, where its not 10% of the total bill is generally adequate.



Bargaining:

Accepted and in the souks in particular, expected. Decide how much you’re prepared to pay.

Day 1: Evening Arrival Transfer to Hotel from Amman Joradan

Day 2: AM: H/day Dubai City Tour ( Lunch is Optional )x PM Free for leisure ( Shopping )

Day 3: AM : Free for Malling x PM Optional Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner.

Day 4: Early Departure Airport Transfer for Fligt back to Manila.



Option 2: Sample itinerary as follows: 3D/2N

Day 1: Evening arrival Transfer to Hotel from Amman Jordan

Day 2: AM: H/Day Dubai SS x PM; Optional Desert Safari with BBQ Dinner

Day 3: Early Departure Airport Transfer back to Manila via EK
