La Union

La Union is a province of the Philippines located in the Ilocos Region in Luzon and is a 5 hour drive from Manila. La Union is highly literate, with San Fernando City as the administrative, educational, and financial center of the region. It is subdivided into 19 municipalities and 1 city. For seven consecutive years since 1994, La Union has consistently been awarded the greenest and cleanest province in Region I. The province has flourished since its creation and is now the financial center of the Ilocos Region (Region I) with the great business opportunities it offers its locals.
