Nueva Vizcaya
Nueva Vizcaya is best known for its carabao mangoes and other fruits like pineapple, kondol, and kamias. The Province Of Nueva Vizcaya used to be a territory of the vast Cagayan Valley Region, which was once an integral political unit with one governor. It is one of the five (5) Provinces of Region II and one of the four (4) Provinces of Cagayan Valley. Nueva Vizcaya is the southernmost province of the Cagayan Valley Region, separated from Nueva Ecija and the rest of Luzon southward by the Caraballo Mountains. With the creation of the province of Isabela in 1856, Bayombong, which is located in the northeast portion of Nueva Vizcaya became the capital town. Nueva Vizcaya has a domestic airport which caters to chattered flights at Bartangay Lantap, Bagabag, 20 kilometers from its capital.
