Will the 2010 elections push through?

There have been rumors going around saying that the Philippine elections in 2010 will not push through. Rumor says that the current administration will do all in its power and beyond to prevent the elections from happening. There are even advice that the people should stock up on basic goods and if possible, go abroad for a few weeks/months since this will not be a pretty scene.

There are numerous cases filed and waiting for GMA as soon as she steps down from the presidency. So one might think this rumor is true. Is there substance to these rumors?
